Willkommen! ("Welcome!") Whether you come for shopping, food or fun, you will find something to enjoy at the Seymour, Indiana Oktoberfest. Admission is free!

Oktoberfest 2009, our 37th annual Oktoberfest, will be held this year on October 1, 2 and 3 - Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.  The Oktoberfest Board of Directors has been working hard since last year's festival closed to get ready for the 2009 festival that attracts thousands of people to downtown Seymour, Indiana.

We are now accepting applications for Arts and Crafts Vendors, Food and Activity Booth Vendors, and entries for the giant 2009 Parade, which will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.

Click here for a 2009 parade entry form.

Art and Craft Vendors who are interested in participating may download an application form which includes all rules and regulations by clicking here.   Click here for an Arts/Crafts application.

Space for food booths and activity booths are in great demand. Vendors are invited back each year as long as they follow the rules we have established, and many vendors return every year.  There is a limited amount of space for new booths, and due to the many inquiries we get for spaces for food or activity booths, we can only accept a limited number of applicants for new booths in 2009.  We do try to limit the different kinds of products, so that we will have a variety of different foods to offer to Oktoberfest visitors.  Please e-mail the information regarding your booth products and size requiements to info@seymouroktoberfest.com, and you will be contacted if there is room for your booth.

Information will be available regarding the 2009 contests, events, and activities the first week in September, along with entry forms for each contest.

Eat, Drink . . . and Enjoy! Eat, Drink . . . and Enjoy!
Each of our food locations is a new temptation for your taste buds -- fun food for every appetite. And, a great selection of beverages. Food booths line the city streets, each laden with rich, delicious treats beckoning festival visitors. Be sure to try the Bavarian treats and other ethnic foods that highlight the Oktoberfest tradition.
Let's Go Shopping Let's Go Shopping
Collectibles, crafts, fine arts, one-of-a-kind items (and always a surprise or two) are all in the Oktoberfest exhibitor areas. Festival patrons are also encouraged to browse by the First Methodist Church, located at 3rd and Ewing Streets, adjacent to the downtown area of the Oktoberfest, which holds a flea market each year.  This huge flea market is always a favorite for those coming to the Oktoberfest.
